How to Connect to a Remote Session

Remote accessing an Apple Mac

Go to https://www.justintech.co.nz/ -> My Support -> Remote Support

  1. Type in supplied code and press enter
  2. Once file has downloaded then run it
  3. In Catalina or newer you need to allow permissions by: Click on the Apple Symbol (Top left) -> System Settings -> Privacy and Security

  4. Then you will need to change three settings:

    a. Accessibility -> Select Just In Tech Remote Support Client / Screenconnect or Connectwisecontrol (if not there press + and browse to where the remote tool was download to and select that file - See number 5 below)


     b. Full Disk Access -> Select Just In Tech Remote Support Client / Screenconnect or Connectwise(if not there press + and browse to where the remote tool was download to and select that file See number 5 below)


    c. Screen Recording -> Select Just In Tech Remote Support Client / Screenconnect or Connectwise (if not there press + and browse to where the remote tool was download to and select that file - See number 5 below)


  5. If you need to manually browse for the temp remote, do so by:

    a. Press + and browse to where the remote tool was download to and select that file (Downloads -> Just In Tech Remote Tool)


    b. If it prompts click on "Later"
